The buzz about the 2013 edition of the SportzBusinezz and Media Awards have started and this will no doubt mark the 2nd year of rewarding with excellence the efforts of performing sports media personalities, corporate bodies, and supporting individuals.
Award Chief Executive Officer, Godwin-Spiff Sagbamah, said: “We are still working assiduously to ensure the sports media industry gets the necessary accolades.
“We make all sports men/women and administrators global citizens and nobody acknowledges us.
“Nevertheless, this year’s edition, which is the 2nd edition, will be much better than the pioneer edition as we hope to gain more recognition in the sports media industry and those involve in the business of it.”
Meanwhile, media nomination started on Friday and is expected to end on August 31 in all categories for media awards only, just as voting for the nominated personalities commences September 1 and closes October 31.
The remarkable event, with all its glitterati and splendour, will hold on Saturday December 7, 2013 at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos State.
