Aliyu to FG: Do not dialogue with faceless Boko Haram members

The Chairman of the Northern States Governors Forum and Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu, has advised the Federal government not to dialogue with faceless but recognised members of dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
Aliyu said if the Federal Government should proceed to dialogue with faceless members of Boko Haram, the peace process could be hijacked by fraudsters.
He thus told members of Boko Haram to come out of their hiding for genuine and meaningful dialogue.
Aliyu said: “We should know who we are talking to.
“We should not allow 419 people to hijack the process.
“We should confirm who we are dealing with.
“We should talk to them but we should talk only to genuine people.”
