African champions, D’Tigers, on Saturday sustained their winning streak with an emphatic victory over Mali at the ongoing Afrobasket 2017 in Tunisia.
The Nigerian side eased past their West African foes by 70-67 points in Rades.
Nigeria won the first and second quarters by 16-20, 17-19.
On resumption for the third and final quarter, the Ike Diogu-led Tigers sustained the momentum, beating their opponents by 18-27, 16-24 points.
Nigeria will confront the Democratic Republic of Congo in their third game of the series at 3:30pm Nigeria time on Sunday.
