Adeyemo urges NFF to monitor other leagues

The Nigeria Football Federation has been urged to ensure the proper monitoring of the various
leagues to improve the game in the Country.
A Football Manager, Doctor Joseph Adeyemo made the call while answering questions from Sportswriters in Ilorin at the end of the Nigeria Nationwide League match between Olutayo Football Club and Injectors FC both from Ilorin.
Doctor Adeyemo who is the Chairman of Olutayo Football Club stated that equal attention and proper monitoring should be given to other Leagues as being witnessed with the Premier League.
The Chairman also called for the introduction of incentives especially take-off grant and waivers in some areas to encourage Public Private development of Sports.
He commended the players and officials of Olutayo FC and other Stakeholders for their support and performance adding that the team would intensify efforts to gain promotion next season.
Doctor Adeyemo stated that the team presently have over thirty players and would recruit more to buff up the squad.
The Chairman noted that the team had produced players who are now playing for Premier League sides across the Country promising not to relent in training young ones for the challenges ahead.
Olutayo FC narrowly lost the promotion bid to Avalon FC of Offa on goal difference as both sides ended with the same points.
Meanwhile, the maiden edition of Kwara State Amputee Soccer competition will holding on Tuesday the eighteenth of next month at the Main-Bowl of the State Stadium, IIorin beginning from ten o clock in the morning.
According to Sarafadeen Oyeleke a Youth Corper, who is also the coordinator of the project, the idea behind Amputee Football is to empower those with the challenges with high level of passion for football to enjoy the game in their own little way.
Sarafadeen, currently a member of the National Amputee Soccer team stressed the need to give amputees the support to achieve their dreams.
