The marketing drive of the management of Nigeria Premier League side, Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club of Ilorin, has yielded positive result.
On Monday, the club management took delivery of kits worth several millions of naira from its partners and top kit manufacturers, PUMA.
The kits and other accessories include high quality jerseys of ABS-registered colours of red and yellow.
Other items include balls, track-suites, medicals kits, bags, bands, shin-guards, canvass, boots and bibs.
Speaking shortly after receiving the items, Team Manager, Alloy Chukwuemeka, said the deal is part of Dr. Bukola Saraki’s vision and contacts aimed at making ABS a brand for other clubs to emulate.
He said further that the official unveiling of the kits would be made public soon.
Present at the event were the club’s Media Officer, Mallam Jimoh Bashir; Kit Manager of the club, Rasheed Adeniyi; and host of other officials of the only privately owned club in the NPL.
Saraki said recently that he will use club to change the face of Nigeria’s premier league.
