A housewife, Monsurat Suleiman, on Tuesday, filed for divorce at an Area Court, Centre-Igboro, Ilorin, after two kids, accusing her husband of lack of love.
The petitioner told the court that the respondent did not take responsibility of their needs and that he had a nonchalant attitude toward the children.
She said that after the first sitting, the respondent and his family refused to approach her or call her for any settlement.
The respondent told the court that efforts had been made toward settling the matter between them, as his wife had earlier been persuaded by his family members but she declined and insisted on ending the marriage.
