Plateau State is one of the core states chosen to benefit from over N100 billion benefits declared by the New Nigeria Development Company.
Plateau State is one of the share holders of the company.
The Secretary to the Plateau State Government, Prof. Shedrack Best, told newsmen that N40 million has been declared as dividends based on the shareholders of the NNDC.
Best said part of the decisions reached after a board meeting in Kaduna State was to build a shopping complex in Kaduna State, stressing that contract has already been awarded in February this year and work has reached 20 per cent completion.
It is scheduled for completion between 12 months and 14 months.
