The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has called for a sober reflection by Christians and all persons of goodwill.
In his 2014 Easter message, Hon. Ihedioha, urged Christians to remember that Easter is a time to recognize the miracles that God has brought by the death of Jesus Christ, keeping in mind that the occasion provides us with the opportunity to think seriously about what contributions w can make to move the nation forward.
According to his Media aide, Oke Epia, “He urges Christians and indeed all Nigerians to keep the faith even in the midst of trials, and to pursue peace and harmony with all men, even as portrayed in the life of Christ while he was on earth.
“Hon. Ihedioha wishes that all Nigerians will partake in the blessing of the season knowing that the beautiful mystery of Easter is the final act of God expressing His love to us”.
