The Benue State Commissioner for the Environment and Urban Development, Dr. Eugene Aliegba, on Monday resigned his appointment from the State Executive Council.
This information was contained in his letter to the Secretary to the State Government, David Sharifu, pointing out that the resignation would take effect on January 31.
According to the statement, the decision is in line with the directives of Governor Gabriel Suswam that all governorship aspirants serving in his administration should resign before the end of January.
