The ongoing Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference in Abuja has been cancelled immediately as one officer reportedly tested positive to COVID-19.
This development filtered in on Thursday morning.
According to available information, the COAS, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, ordered the discontinuation of the conference.
Buratai directed all participants to embark on 14 days mandatory self-isolation to prevent any further spread of the disease.
