Esther Ugoosuoha, NIPOST District Postal Manager, Ilorin branch, says NIPOST is meant to serve all, irrespective of financial status in the society.
Ugoosuoha, who made the clarification while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria in Ilorin on Thursday, said it was wrong to believe, that NIPOPST was meant for the rich alone.
She said: “Many people see the post office as only for the rich people and thus prefer not to move closer to enjoy the services being rendered.
“NIPOST operates an open door policy for both the rich and poor. Everybody is equal and special in NIPOST.
“It is your right to patronise NIPOST as nobody will deprive you of coming to enjoy our services.”
She said that NIPOST had come up with affordable services that took everyone into consideration.
She said: “NIPOST is cheap and affordable. You don’t need to have the whole money in a bag before patronising NIPOST.”
She said NIPOST offered Post Transfer (Electronic Money transfer), Agency banking, Special delivery service, Bill board/Slogan advertisement, and sales of postage stamps.
The district postal manager assured that NIPOST would continue to evolve to serve its clients better.
