President Muhammadu Buhari has won the presidential election in Gombe State.
The result was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday.
According to INEC, Buhari polled 402,961 votes.
Closest to him was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, who scored 138,484 votes.
After the announcement of the result at about 6:37pm, the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced that there would be another break as no other state was ready to present results.
Ondo State, which had started before Gombe State, but was asked to make some corrections, was still not ready at the time.
Yakubu said the announcement of result will resume at 8pm.
A break had earlier been taken after the announcement of results from four states and the Federal Capital Territory.
