The Peoples Democratic Party representative for Ekiti North Senatorial District, Duro Faseyi, has lost his reelection bid to the All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator Olubunmi Adetumbi.
The result was announced on Sunday by the Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission for the District, Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina.
Fasina said while Adetumbi scored 60,689 votes, Faseyi polled 49,209 votes.
