The management of Rangers International of Enugu and Warri Wolves of Warri have been told to go and resolve the ownership tussle over Sunday Mba amicably.
At the end of its second day sitting in Abuja, the panel put together by the Nigeria Football Federation to resolve the differences, failed to give a clear verdict on who is the rightful owner of Mba, the Super Eagles hero in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations.
Mba scored a goal each for the Super Eagles in the semi-final and final of the Africa Nations Cup, which Nigeria won.
A source at the meeting told The Eagle Online: “The two clubs have been mandated to meet and resolve the matter before Monday.
“If they fail to do so, then we will give our verdict because it is a very complicated matter.”
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, was, surprisingly, absent on Thursday at the sitting.
Falana came with Enugu Rangers for the first meeting, which was deadlocked on Wednesday.
