The Nigeria Football Federation has taken delivery of customised Champagnes ahead of Saturday’s must-win World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
The specially-made Champagnes displayed bold logo of the NFF and they will be popped as soon as victory is recorded at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.
Oil-rich host government, Akwa Ibom, who have splashed millions to give the national team a comfortable home since the qualifiers began October 2016, will also throw a big party after the celebrations in the stadium.
Nigeria will secure a sixth World Cup berth should they as expected beat Zambia.
They top Group B with 10 points, while Zambia are the only team in with a chance of stopping them as they have seven points.
Three-time African champions Super Eagles have featured at the 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010 and 2014 World Cups, reaching the knockout rounds in 1994 and 2014.
