The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has arrived the National Assembly ahead of his screening by the Senate.
Magu is to be screened by the Senate for his confirmation as the substantive chairman of the EFCC.
On arrival, Magu went straight to the office of the Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang.
The Senate begins sitting at 11am.
The Senate had on Tuesday fixed the screening for Wednesday.
Manu’s confirmation had been delayed following the refusal of the senators to screen him based on a damaging report by the Department of State Services.
