The Senior Women National Team, the Super Falcons, were forced to a 1-1 draw in Dakar on Friday in an Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifying match.
Playing at the Stade Demba Diop in the Senegalese capital, the reigning African champions created a host of opportunities before substitute Chioma Wogu shot Nigeria into the lead a minute to half time.
Senegal, winners over Guinea in the previous round, mounted pressure in the second period and got the equalizer to ensure a respectable result in front of their fans.
The return leg will take place at the National Stadium Complex, Abuja on Tuesday, starting from 4pm.
