The death toll in the building that collapsed in Lekki area of Lagos State in the early hours of Tuesday has risen to six.
The initial death toll when The Eagle Online broke the news was one, with four rescued.
However, five more dead bodies have been pulled out as at press time.
The National Emergency Management Agency in the South West and the Lagos State Fire Service are coordinating the rescue operations.
The operation was still ongoing as at press time.
