Ikechukwu Ugwuegede, the All Progressives Congress House of Representative candidate for Nsukka/Igboeze South Constituency in Enugu State, has vowed true representation if elected.
Ugwuegede told the News Agency of Nigeria in Enugu on Monday that he would go extra mile to ensure that the interest his constituency and the state in general were protected.
According to him, I have a vision of continuing on soul searching in Nigeria to remove political cankers that had bedeviled people at the grassroots.
Ugwuegede, a two-time commissioner in Enugu State noted that the problem facing this country was bad representation.
He said that APC was poised to give the country true leadership in his constituency and the state in general as they had tasted and trusted people as their candidates.
The candidate urged the people to vote all the candidates of APC in the state to make a positive change in the state come 2019 general elections.
The former commissioner expressed happiness for the confidence his people entrusted on him by nominating him to represent them.
He promised to use four years to bring to his people what his opponent in the Peoples Democratic Party could not do in the past 12 years.
Ugwuegede said that APC was desirous of vote from the electorate as it believed that the people owned the vote.
