Mohammed, A governorship aspirant in Kano State and son of former Head of State, late General Sani Abacha, has vowed to win the state back for the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 election.
Kano State is currently under the control of the All Progressives Congress, with Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as governor.
Mohammed Abacha has already obtained his PDP nomination and expression of interest forms.
The governorship aspirant made it clear that Kano State, which is known as the Centre of Commerce, is too strategic to be left in the hands of the opposition party.
Mohammed Abacha, it would be recalled, cross carpeted from his former party, the Congress for Progressives Change, to the PDP.
The aspirant was optimistic that if given the the governorship ticket, PDP will, no doubt, win Kano State.
He expressed his readiness to work, unrelentlessly, with like minds within the PDP to unseat the opposition.
Mohammed further promised to improve the living standard of the people of the state by creating employment for the unemployed in addition to effectively utilizing the state’s available human and mineral resources for the benefit of all.
