Nigeria’s representatives, Rangers International Football Club and Rivers United, have been handed tough draws in the play-off of the CAF Confederation Cup.
While Rivers United do battle with Rayon Sports of Rwanda, Enugu Rangers will have its handful against Zambian giants, Zesco United.
In the draw conducted by CAF General Secretary, Hicham El Amrani, assisted by Hazem El Hawary, a member of the CAF Interclubs Committee, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday, the Nigerian sides will play as hosts in the first leg is slated for April 7, while the second leg will hold a week later.
Rangers and Rivers United were demoted to the CAF Confederation Cup after crashing out from the CAF Champions League.
