Most part of the Lagos metropolis, especially the mainland, have become flooded after a heavy downpour on Sunday.
The rain, which began shortly after most churches ended their Easter Sunday services, was heavy in most parts of the city.
From Ogba, where there are major construction projects in the central area, to Mushin, Oshodi, Bariga, Abule Egba and Ikeja, the roads were flooded.
This was attributed in most cases to blocked drainages.
The flooding resulted into traffic in some areas, with several vehicles breaking down.
The situation appeared worse in Ogba and the entire Oshodi/Isolo areas.
