The collation and announcement of results of the presidential election held over the weekend has resumed at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The announcement resumed with the outcome from Adamawa State.
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, took Adamawa State.
Buhari won with 374,701 votes.
His main challenger and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan, scored 251,664 votes.
Before the break, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, had announced that the results from three more states were ready.
With the announcement of the result from Adamawa State, there are only nine more states left.
So far, results from 27 states and the Federal Capital Territory have been announced.
