The Zambian national team, Chipolopolo, held their first training session at the Marcel Desailly Stadium in Ghana on Monday.
Two foreign-based professionals, Orlando Pirates’ Justin Shonga and Ajax Cape Town’s Roderick Kabwe, attended the workout, Football Association of Zambia has informed.
Players and officials of the Copper Bullets are camped at Best Western Premier Hotel for a four-day stay in Accra.
”We all arrived safely in Accra on yesterday, the first group arrived at 17:30 hours, while the second group flew in at 22:35hours. So far Roderick Kabwe and Justin Shonga are with us as first foreign based players to join camp,” team manager Team Manager Chris Chibuye told Fazfootball.com.
Russia based duo of Stoppilla Sunzu (Arsenal Tula) and Fashion Sakala (Spartak Moscow) also joined the team on Monday.
