Wigan Athletic saw off Manchester City 1-0 to win
the FA Cup final in dramatic circumstances.
The Latics, in their first final appearance, made the
most of their numerical advantage in the closing
stages, after Pablo Zabaleta had seen red for City.
The Lactics are now turbo charged to confront Arsenal in a dogged fight at the Emirate Stadium on Tuesday in their fight to escape relegation.
Winning the FA Cup has already secured the Europa slot for the Lactics and would want to put the icing on this rare achievement to get a result away to Arsenal in their bid to escape relegation.
