Rumours that West Bromwich Albion are ready to offload record signing, Brown Ideye, are beginning to circulate.
Ideye, who signed for an estimated £10 million this summer, has endured a stop-start beginning to his Albion career following a delayed pre-season and an injury.
He is now being kept out of the team despite being fit.
The Nigerian international has scored just once – in the Capital One Cup against Hull – since his arrival in England, and he was let out of the squad entirely for Saturday’swin at Leicester.
The Daily Mirror reports that Albion are already looking for a replacement in January.
One of the men keeping Ideye out of the squad, England under-21 internationa,l Saido Berahino, has reportedly attracted interest from Tottenham, who are said to be considering a bid for him during the transfer window.
