The Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, on Sunday, addressed a viral video showing plainclothes individuals requesting a motorist’s tinted glass permit.
Adejobi said the policemen have been traced and identified and are undergoing investigation.
In the video, the men alighting from a white vehicle are heard asking the motorist for his car’s tinted permit.

The driver states, “It’s a factory tinted glass and I can’t remember the last time police asked me for a tinted permit because that was cancelled two years ago.”
When asked about the police division, a voice responds, “We are from state CID Zone 2, V.I here. Please, can you give me your tinted permit, sir?”
Reacting to the video on Sunday, Adejobi said, “These policemen have been traced to Zone 2 and identified. The AIG Zone 2 Lagos is investigating. While the PPRO Zone 2, Lagos will speak on it as soon as possible.
