Nduka Ugbade, the Head Coach of MFM Football Club, says he is delighted over his club’s defeat of Stationery Stores of Lagos in the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League.
Ugbade told the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Lagos that the defeat was remarkable.
NAN reports that MFM Football Club defeated Stationery Stores of Lagos 4-0 at the Agege Stadium on March 1.
The first three goals of the match were scored in the first half, while the fourth goal came in the second half.
Ugbade told NAN that recording a win over Stationery Stores was a wonderful result, adding: “I’m very happy we won.
“If you have the opportunity of playing a team like Stationery Stores as a coach, you will want your team to do their very best.”
Also, MFM Football Club Captain, Chukwuemeka Opara, attributed the victory to good team work and the determination to excel.
Opara commended the technical crew for a job well done.
He said: “This is a good result for us.
“We played with determination and commitment and we won.”
