The Co-Founders – Dr. Amos Akingba, Akogun Tola Adeniyi, Chief Solagbade Popoola and Prof. Anthony Kila – under the Leaders Council, issued the threat after a group declared Akintoye as the substantive leader of the YWC.
The coalition passed the vote of confidence on Akintoye on Tuesday in Ibadan, Oyo State at a press conference to mark the first anniversary of the Congress and to assess the state of affairs of the Yoruba race, a day after he was sacked as leader by the Co-Founders of the YWC.

The six months programme will link 50 accomplished Yoruba professionals from various sectors and countries across world to Yoruba graduates chosen from 10 States across Nigeria.
In a statement through its Director of Communications, Moses Jolayemi, the group said from the efforts so far made by the governor, leading to the recent inauguration, it was clear that he is serious about the security initiative and not engaged in mere lip service or political shenanigan.
The meetings, which held on Saturday simultaneously, took place across over 200 local government areas of Yoruba speaking states, including some LGAs in Kwara, Kogi, Edo and Delta States.

Adesankan made the clarification on Tuesday during a solidarity rally held by YWC and other groups in Ibadan, Oyo State in support of the Amotekun initiative by the South West governors.
