Luck is a very powerful factor in human affairs. As it turned out, Donald Trump lost the election. His loss is not a gain for the Democrats and Joe Biden/Kamala Harris alone, it was also a major gain for Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who has now benefitted from the change in the United States, as a globalist, liberal President emerges in the White House.

Senior Nigerian economist Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, also the first woman to assume the post, is the only remaining candidate for the troubled organization in Geneva.
Considering various factors, Yoo decided to drop her bid and inform the WTO of the decision, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
On October 28, the General Council of the WTO declared Dr. Okonjo-Iweala as the best suited candidate to occupy the position, but the United States of America challenged the declaration, adding that it would continue to support the next candidate in line, South Korea’s Minister of Trade, Yoo Myung-hee.
Yoo is South Korea’s Trade Minister, while Okonjo-Iweala is a development economist.
