President-Union, Urhobo Progress Union, (CPU) Chief Joe Omene made this known in a press statement he signed with the title: 

This call was made by the UPU through a letter dated August 12, 2020, signed by its President-General, Olorogun Moses Taiga, and channeled through the office of Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta has advised politicians to shun actions that could jeopardise peace in the 2019 general elections.

The President made the pledge when he received traditional rulers and opinion leaders drawn from the Urhobo Progress Union who paid him a courtesy visit at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
