Facebook chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, has said he intends to remain head of the social media giant he founded in spite of calls for changes in management, local media reported on Wednesday.
Facebook executives revealed this information to the Media as the latest effort to reduce voter manipulation on its service.
The survey found that a whopping 44 per cent of users aged between 18 and 29 have removed Facebook’s app from their phones in the past 12 months, and about 42 per cent have taken a break from checking the platform for several weeks or more.
The announcement is a sign of Facebook’s efforts to get ready before the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation enters into force on May 25
