Senate decision was sequel to the report submitted by Chairman, Senate Committee on Communications, Senator Oluremi Tinubu which was considered by the Senate.

The Senate Committee on Communications says it was impressed by the various regulatory interventions which the Nigerian Communications Commission has taken to ensure improved service delivery and bridging access gaps in the country.
