The Anambra Government says it will establish an Arts and Craft Village in a bid to improve the tourism sector of the state.
Sally Mbanefo, Commissioner for Indigenous Art Works, Daspora Affairs, Culture and Tourism in Anambra, made the disclosure when she visited the community to inaugurate the 2018 edition of the festival on Sunday.
Mbanefo said this when she visited Blessed Iwene Tansi tomb and Obu Gad, the historical origin of the Igbo people in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area, on Sunday.
The workers, who were piqued by what they called highhandedness and poor welfare of the workers by the Coker-led NTDC, expressed disappointment over the development in the Corporation
