A call has been made to the Lagos State Government, individuals and corporate organisations who are currently deploying all manner of palliatives in cash and kind as a result of the effect of the Coronavirus Disease lockdown to use the network of Rotary International.

Led by the President of the club and Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine, Rotarian Azuh Arinze, and ably supported by past presidents such as Bade Oke, Niyi Adesanya, Remi Bello, Julius Nwokoro and Remi Babarinde, as well as members like Michael Effiong, Okey Anachuna, Funmi Abe, Hilary Egeregor, Segun Agbi, Andrew Esechie and Omolara Omotosho, the community literally stood still for the Rotarians who arrived in a convoy.
Chaired by Dr. Muiz Banire, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, the Guest Speaker was Brila FM founder, Dr. Larry Izamoje, while the special guests of honour included Otunba Dayo Adeneye, Ogun State Commissioner for Information and Strategy; Elegant Stallion and songster, Lady Onyeka Onwenu; and District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110 Nigeria, Dr. Adewale Ogunbadejo.
The well-known journalist and author presided over his first meeting on July 6, 2017 at their meeting venue, Adna Hotel, 28, Ladipo Bateye Street, Ikeja-GRA, Lagos, preparatory to his investiture ceremony sometime in October.
