A total of 17 athletes and 18 officials on Tuesday departed Abuja for Argentina ahead of the 2018 Youth Olympics slated for October 6 to October 18, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
This followed the team’s 2-0 bashing of Iceland on Friday at the Volgograd Arena, moving them the second position in the group behind Croatia who have six points from two games.
