The RRS, headed by Chief Superintendent of Police Olayinka Egbeyemi, announced the arrest on its Facebook page.
The operational squad, led by the Commander of the RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, nabbed the six traffic robbery kingpins around Iddo Bridge, Ijora Olopa, Ojota and Ketu.
Five of the suspects were arrested on Thursday at about 1030pm by a team of RRS operatives, led by the Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, around Motorways end of Ketu, while the other three suspects were caught in the act by another RRS patrol team around 6am on Friday.
The Head of Public Affairs of the task force, Taofiq Adebayo, issued the notice in a statement in Lagos on Sunday.
