The statement recalled that in recent times, there had been increased patrols by Naval operatives, which led to the destruction of illegally operated local refineries and arrest of vandals

He said: “The unfortunate incident happened on Tuesday morning at Ogbolomabiri-Nembe junction, some two kilometers away from Nembe, when our troops, on escort duty, encountered some gunmen who happened to be kidnappers.
