NCAA Spokesman, Sam Adurogboye, said in a statement that the suspension was conveyed to the airline via a letter with reference No. NCAA/DG/CSLA/RM/1-06/18/2304 and dated May 11, 2018 and signed by the Agency’s Director General, Capt. Muhtar Usman.
Usman said in the circular that NCAA-AEROMET-25 was issued based on the Seasonal Rainfall Prediction released for 2018 by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency.
Muhtar told newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos that the Accident Investigation Bureau would investigate the incident in line with the Act setting up the bureau.
