The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that kidnappers invaded Agbo Hotel on Saturday and kidnapped the owner of the hotel, Oyedokun Oyeniyi, his wife, Busayo Oyedokun and seven others.
The Command spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, said in a statement in Asaba, that the victims were rescued on Wednesday.
It has also co-opted more Civilian Joint Task Force members into its operation.
The state Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa, told newsmen that the operatives of the command were on trail of the fugitive.
Ayuba, who gave the order on Wednesday during a visit to the centre to assess the extent of damage, said the perpetrators, believed to be sponsored political thugs, would not go unpunished.
The spokesman of the Command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, made this known in a statement on Saturday.
