The finals held at the Tokyo International Forum saw Ejike, who was battling for her fourth Paralympic gold in the women’s 61kg, settling for bronze.

This was disclosed by the Director, FEAD, Dr. Simeon Ebhojiaye, on Friday in a statement.

Ejike told the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja, following the long period of inactivity due to the coronavirus pandemic, that she was however yet to resume her gym sessions.
