The police charged Balogun with threat to life, assault and damage to property, but the accused pleaded not guilty.

Omotosho, a 41 year- old resident of Ijaye area of Lagos, is being tried for conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretence and stealing.

According to the prosecutor, Sergeant Godwin Awase, the accused committed the offences on October 10 at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

Awase said the accused assaulted Salisu Sanni by stabbing him with a bottle on his head when the complainant demanded N200 being the cost of the beverage.
