Oyeyemi announced this when he handed over to Biu at the FRSC headquarters Monday in Abuja.

Prior to his appointment, Oyeyemi who was one of the few founding officers of the Corps had gained wide ranging experiences spanning all the major departments and commands of the Corps, all of which he excelled in managing without blame. With his robust background in operations, motor vehicle administration, training and policy, research and statistics, which he managed with excellence, all eyes were on the Federal Government to give him the opportunity to showcase the leadership skills he had learnt over the years under successive Corps Marshals.

In his message, FRSC Corps Marshal Oyeyemi preached love for one another, peaceful coexistence and care for the less privileged members of the society, saying these are virtues which people must imbibe during and even beyond the Sallah celebrations.

According to Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Public Education Officer of FRSC, “the Corps Marshal Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi has mandated that the following objectives must be achieved in the special operations: Reduction in road traffic crashes, road traffic fatalities, and road traffic injuries; prompt response to road traffic crash victims; engagement of robust public education and enlightenments across all media platforms; speedy removal of obstructions from the highways; intensified enforcement on critical offences; and adequate supervision, surveillance and monitoring of all commands amongst others”.

Delivering his address at the graduation, the FRSC Corps Marshal, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, said that the graduating participants are the touch bearers as they must keep showing the difference between their former self and reformation arising from their encounter with the college.

His legacies, achieved through dint of hard work and ingenuity in management, would always remain a part of the soul of the FRSC.

This warning became necessary as disobedience to speed limit had resulted to the upsurge in speed related accidents.

This to ensure sanity and curb crashes, especially with repair works done on several roads by contractors.

The statement further noted that Governor Makinde, who addressed a joint press conference with the FRSC Corps Marshal and other Road Safety Chiefs, said that it is important for states to collaborate with the Federal Government and federal agencies to resolve issues that impact on their local environments.

Boboye Oyeyemi, FRSC Corps Marshall, disclosed this in Owerri on Friday during the flag-off of the 2021 ember months safety campaign titled ‘Maintain Safety Speed, Avoid Night Travels and Enjoy Quality Road Experience’.

Those affected by the redeployment include Deputy Corps Marshals, Assistant Corps Marshals, Corps Commanders, Deputy Corps Commanders and intermediate ranks, who are all expected to report to their new Commands with immediate effect

Bello said this on Thursday in Udi, near Enugu when the Board members were led on inspection of facilities at the academy by the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi.

The Corp made this announcement as a need to ensure a safe and crash free celebration.

Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, FRSC Corps Marshal, disclosed this on Monday while addressing stakeholders at Ogere Tanker and Articulated Vehicles Park in Ogun.

This was contained in his Christmas message in which the Corps Marshal reiterated his earlier calls for people to guide against unhealthy habits that could compromise the guidelines put in place by the National Centre for Disease Control to avert spread of the disease.

This followed the submission of the report of the Establishment Committee in respect to the 2019 promotion on December 14, 2020

The wisdom of the foregoing appears apt in relation to the situation of the Corps Marshall and Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi. This is within the purview of what appears as an orchestrated campaign of calumny targeted at railroading him out of office, while his tenure at the helms of Nigeria’s primary road management authority is yet to end.

With the Nobel Laurette, Prof. Wole Soyinka, as the founding Chairman of the Commission, working in tandem with Dr. Olu Agunloye, who was the pioneer Corps Marshal of the FRSC, the foundation of a modern organisation built on the ideals of knowledge, service delivery and technology was solidly laid.
