The Federal Government had through the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 fixed resumption of schools for January 18, 2021.
Ajao, who spoke with newsmen in Ilorin, said the resumption followed the recent suspension of the nine-month-old national strike by the Union.
In separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria in Nsukka, on Tuesday, the residents bemoaned the strike as having grounded their businesses and were now counting their losses.
