At a stakeholders meeting held at Protea Hotels, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, Orinmalade described the Ambode-led government as a listening one and pledged his association’s support for the new law and all other progressive decisions of the government going forward.

It will be recalled that the Boards of the Sports Associations, which are under the supervision of the State Sports Commission, had earlier been dissolved, excluding the Lagos State Football Association, to enable the State Government rejig and reposition the activities of all State Sports Association in line with the vision of the Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration to become the Sports Hub of Africa.
The community at a rally in Agege agreed that Ambode should be re-elected to continue in office as Governor of Lagos State; Obasa should be supported to return as the Speaker of the state House of Assembly; and Ogundimu should be re-elected as member representing Agege Constituency 2 in the state House of Assembly.
Ambode said this at the graduation ceremony/job fair of the first set of trainees from the Lagos State Employability Project held in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
The State Government had recently launched a special advocacy campaign to engender growth mindset among civil servants and imbue them with the right skills and attitude to contribute to the efforts to fast-track development and set the State on the path of sustainable and inclusive growth.
Ambode said the State Government would come out with a positive position to ameliorate the issues raised by stakeholders on the new Land Use Charge law in the next one week, adding that the increment was all in a bid to protect the future and create permanent prosperity for the State.

Ambode made the recommendation during a symbolic walk against domestic and sexual violence at Alausa.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that party leaders from the zone, led by Chief Rabiu Oluwa and other members endorsed Ambode at a special assembly in Ikeja.
