The announced date comes ahead of the directive of the Federal Government which put the reopening of schools at not earlier than January 18, 2021.

This feat was made possible through the Opportunity Funds Programme of the United States Consulate General in Lagos, with support from Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited.

In a statement by Malam Muhammad Bello, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, and made available to newsmen on Monday in Sokoto, the governor said the resumption would be in phases, beginning from October 11.

According to the Government, both public and private schools below tertiary level are to abide by the timetable.
