Supreme Court FC on Wednesday bounced back to winning ways as they thrashed Wikki Tourist of Bauchi 3-0 in Nigeria National League Week 19 tie at Area 3 ground in Abuja.
The Apex Boys dictated the proceedings all through the trilling encounter, which changed the earlier 0-2 deficit suffered by the Abuja-based side in Bauchi.
The game started on a low key but later metamorphosed into harvest of goals beginning with a powerful shot by Samson Folorunsho in the 42nd minute after he got an assist from Eric Eric before half time.
On resumption for the second half, the Apex Boys launched more attack on the table toppers.
Eric stepped forward to convert a spot kick in the 70th minute.
Supreme Court’s new signing, Friday Jacob, made it three, lashing on to a set piece effort to send the pitch packed with spectators into ecstasy.
In his post match comment, Supreme Court’s Technical Adviser, Coach Fatai Osho, thumbed up his boys performance, adding: “I’m happy the way our players are adapting to better playing pattern.
“Work rate is already paying off.
“We will continue to correct any noticeable lapses.
“The management has also been very supportive.
“My proposal for a training tour was approved during the World Cup break and we can all see the result.”
On his part, striker Eric, who got the second goal for his side, gave thanks to God and promised to keep working hard.
Supreme Court FC, now with 26 points, will be heading to Lokoja to confront Kogi United in Week 20 match of the season.
