Old timer Nigerian female musician, Stella Monye, popularly called Samba Queen, has concluded all arrangements to drop a gospel album any time soon.
The new album, entitled: “I Believe,” is due for release soon.
According to the singing legend: “The decision to record gospel came when I joined the choir in my church.
“I was doing great, then the spirit of the Lord came upon me and used me greatly.
“Everyone was excited and wanted to be a part of listening to a singing legend in the church.”
Monye’s career began at age 14 when she featured on the now rested Art Alade show on the Nigerian Television Authority.
She has also performed on stages across the world, represented Nigeria on several international tours and has met great stars such as legendary Mariam Makeba, among many others.
