Dominic Solanke has joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The striker embarks on his first loan spell away from Stamford Bridge at the Eredivisie club.
Solanke, 17, was an integral member of the Chelsea Academy teams last season and scored in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup final as well as the UEFA Youth League final.
Jose Mourinho handed the youngster his first-team debut last October in a Champions League victory over Maribor and he was also part of the group which travelled to Thailand and Australia for Chelsea’s post-season tour, scoring the only goal of the game against the Thailand All-Stars.
