The Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa’I, has commended the 2011/2012 Batch C Youth Corps members who did their primary assignment in the Ministry for their thoughtfulness in donating a signboard to the Ministry.
The minister, who commended the Corp members on Friday while unveiling the signboard, praised them for their initiative and dedication to their fatherland.
She said: “I am very proud of you.
“I am very happy that you thought of leaving behind a monument and a sign of appreciation, with which you would be remembered.
“And this is worthy of emulation.”
She admonished them to continue to do their best wherever they find themselves and to always have hope for a better Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of the corps members, Onuzurike-Offor Fidelis expressed appreciation for their warm reception and care during the service, noting that their service period in the Ministry was an enjoyable and memorable one.
